Install Wallpaper On Wall

Step 1: Prepare the Wall

Before install wallpaper on wall, ensure your wall is clean, smooth, and dry. Remove any old wallpaper and patch up any holes or imperfections. Sand down rough areas and wipe the wall clean with a damp sponge to remove dust and grease. Allow the wall to dry completely before proceeding.

Step 4: Hang the Wallpaper

Starting from one end of the wall, carefully position the first strip of wallpaper against the wall, leaving a slight overlap at the ceiling and ensuring it is straight using a level. Smooth out the wallpaper using a wallpaper smoothing tool to remove any air bubbles or wrinkles. Work from the center outwards and from top to bottom.

Step 5: Trim Excess Wallpaper

Use a sharp utility knife or wallpaper cutter to trim the excess wallpaper at the top and bottom of the wall. Use a straightedge to guide your cuts and take care not to damage the wallpaper or the wall surface.

Step 6: Match and Hang the Next Strip

Align the next strip of wallpaper next to the first, matching the pattern carefully. Overlap the edges slightly and repeat the process of smoothing out the wallpaper and trimming the excess. Continue this process until the entire wall is covered.

Step 7: Clean Up

​Once all the wallpaper strips are in place and trimmed, wipe away any excess adhesive or paste from the wallpaper and wall using a damp sponge. Allow the wallpaper to dry completely according to the manufacturer’s instructions before moving furniture back into place or allowing the room to be used.
